Nov 2025 – Present

Spacetalk (opens in a new tab)

Senior Software Engineer

  • Build sign-in and location services for Spacetalk’s 60,000+ mobile subscribers. Cut geocoding calls by 96% and failed iOS location notifications by 64%.
  • Look after how location data moves between regions and take releases live. Also help junior engineers build their skills and use Claude Code to plan, build, review and troubleshoot our software.

Senior Software Engineer

  • Built an online car finance application process for a major European car brand’s finance arm in six months.
  • Looked after the architecture, frontend, backend and cloud setup, plus support once it was live. Helped junior engineers along the way through code reviews and working through problems together.

Senior Software Engineer

  • Helped build the first version of LeaseMyTesla, Tesla Australia’s official leasing provider, and rebuilt Driva’s customer portal.
  • Led the work to connect a Twilio AI chatbot and built a used car warranty feature that brought in a new source of revenue. Also connected the platform with Catch-e and Trade Me.

Senior Full Stack Developer

  • Led the move from PHP to Next.js, lifting lead generation and conversion rates by up to 10x. The platform supported a $9M Series A.
  • Built internal AWS tools that cut deal processing times by 70%. Used Terraform and GitHub Actions to set up and deploy the serverless infrastructure.

  • Worked with the founders to build and launch the first platform, helping property investors access up to two years of rental income upfront.
  • Built and looked after REST APIs in PHP and Node.js on AWS Lambda.

Full Stack Developer

  • Rebuilt the Formula SAE team’s website and the tools they used to manage student and sponsor records. The new site helped bring in more sponsors and get more students involved.
